Savoring the second kiss, Gabriel was glad it lasted a bit longer. Sure, he wanted more. [i]Who wouldn't?[/i] he thought, but he wasn't greedy or in a rush, so he felt like he could wait.
[i]"Shall we go back home?"[/i] she said afterwards, and Gabriel nodded. The coolness of the air was starting to creep back after they had finished their embrace. [i]"Yeah, that sounds good. Fresh air only gets so fresh when it's in the city."[/i] he joked, giving her a wink. While they headed back, the others from the pack talked about the situation.

[i]"I can't believe we'll be moving into a house, guys!"[/i] Thomas says enthusiastically. [i]"Calm down, kid."[/i] responded Conrad cooly. [i]"We don't know if we're moving in anywhere yet, we're just visiting because she offered."[/i] Jaze put his hand on Conrad's shoulder. [i]"Don't be so cold, Conrad."[/i] he said. [i]"Vanessa seems like a really nice person. I'm sure we'll move in if she wants us to and if we think it's okay after we've been there."[/i] Conrad nodded in response. [i]"Of course, I just mean nothing is set in stone yet."[/i]
Then they went quiet as the door opened and Gabriel and Vanessa returned.
