My parents were criminals, the both of them, who unwittingly messed with the wrong individual and paid the ultimate price. As a child, I ran from the individual that killed them for two years, as he was trying to get rid of the witness to the murders that was me.
*Shrugs*
I can't complain though. I'm well off now. Can't say that spending my entire childhood with parents like them would have been likely to end well for me, either.
