One of my favorite execution methods I heard of once when I was studying the Salem witch trials for a class project [@Prince of Seraphs], was where they cut open a horse and stuffed the woman in. They then sewed the horse back up with the woman's head being the only part of her not being inside. She was then left to starve outside of the town.
