There's also the fact that if apocalypse was working with anyone with psychic powers, if they were decently good with them, then Cyano probably would die. One on one with apocalypse though, and she could put up a fight at the very least. If she won or survived she would be extremely vulnerable for at least as lon as it took apocalypse to regenerate, but she could put up a fight.
