Unlike the pizza whose mediocre taste was unknown to Jeremy, his regular choice of soup and hot chocolate graced his mouth more as the two talked for a while. Well, Rena did most of the talking, but he was still enjoying himself knowing she took interest in a lot of the same things he did. Despite Rena's intrusive nature which the shy man wasn't used to, the thought of actually having a friend was rather calming and made him forget about the fear of being persecuted. The two were outside now, and Rena was talking about how much fun she had. This only reaffirmed his feelings about the "date." By now, the awkwardness that came around being with Rena was only faint, so obvious jabs didn't really do much to him anymore. "I won't lie, Rena. I might keep secrets, but I'll never lie. I don't think I've ever had this much fun with someone else before," he softly admitted with a smile. Jeremy then kept to his thoughts a bit before answering her last bit. "Well, uhm... I really don't know of any other places," he meekly admitted before turning to her. "I'd much rather see what your idea of a good pizza place is! They don't normally get orders for pizza here, so I'm sure it didn't blow you away... but it still looked good enough to make me want to try something you think is good." The difference was already night and day. Rena was surely rubbing off on him now, and Jeremy felt like it could only seem to get better.
