"Just so you know, if we hadn't been in the school building, there would have been nothing you could have done to stop me anyway, either of you" Lily said softly. "I think Angelo needs me more then I need him. You misunderstand him, greatly, by thinking little of him. Don't say you don't. You think him odd, strange, and he is. But he's kind, and that matters." Lily sighed, weary. Right then, she didn't even know what she was feeling, and her thoughts were just jumbled. "I want to help, and you do need it." She didn't know what else she could say, and so she fell silent, closing her tired eyes, and waiting for a response.
