Just as a matter of clarification, Apophis wasn't being disrespectful, really. Or better, she was being respectfully disrespectful, since she was saying old man in the same way a teenager would refer to her dad informally.

Not to say that Apophis thinks of him as her dad or anything as dramatic as that, but that's her way of showing respect.
