[b]History:[/b] Son of former world welterweight boxing champion Yujiro “The Piston” Saito, Kenji has been around fighters and their environments all of his life. After his father retired, he opened up a large gym where he personally teaches the Sweet Science and holds regular kickboxing and mixed martial arts classes as well. Fortune, however, deprived Kenji from following in his father's footsteps like he wanted to. Though he's able to exercise and lead a healthy life, a congenital disorder means his body can't possibly stand up to the rigors of actual competition, and so he's turned his ambition of being a world champion towards Robattles.

[b]History:[/b] After Kenji's disease was discovered, he was crushed. Fighting and reaching the top had been his lifelong dream. Looking to cheer him up, his dad scrounged up some money with help from the gym's regulars and pro fighters and bought Banny. Soon enough, the medabot became the gym's unofficial mascot, as his looks derived from a classical japanese gang leader were seen as a good fit for the place. Though BAN-types are built entirely around landing counterattacks, Banny has been thoroughly coached by Kenji and the fighters at the gym and has thus grown into a strong fighter without the need to rely on his preprogrammed attack abilities.

[b]Other:[/b] Unlike the original BAN-0 type, Banny's updated release features actual hands attached to its mace-like arms and the spikes have been replaced with nubs that make the whole construction resemble brass knuckles. All of this detracts nothing from its performance and makes it handier to have around outside of robattling.
