I'm not versed in art so I'll keep from attempting to drawing anything (for now) (Already somewhat procrastinating...)

In the hider bellow I included 2 designs of matoran that could make for a great moc, To lsit pros and cons with each picture;

On the first picture is a matoran that holds up to the 01-02 timeline when we had the focus on matanui and its toas where as one example, Takua was seen. As a con, it is very hard to get access to the middle piece and the feet as those were removed from use early (and as it was only in early sets, the colors offered are limited)

On the other hand we have a build that has its roots still in the concept of matoran but it's done more in the 15 style. Due to the way it's made it has the con of having vary few masks to choose from (to cheat this one would use old mata/nuva neck fix) and while it's made of primarly those parts it has one of those odd parts not available in the new line (but available from older sets) otherwise having very accessible requirements and not too hard to pick up (if you find a new medium set and a protector (skullgrinder vs maskmaker works)
