High above Arcadia-1
[@Lmpiko] In the skies above the ruined city of Los Angeles, a dimensional rift opens wide, tearing asunder the already fragile and frayed fabric of reality that was barely keeping the world together; unlike most other tears, this one was no "natural" phenomenon but a deliberate and willful attempt by someone or something to enter the broken world with the use of some very powerful and advanced technology. Seconds pass and at the very moment the rift had stabilized enough to allow safe passage, a dark grey and silver blur screams out of the tear; moving as fast as a bullet, crossing several hundred meters within milliseconds before coming to a stop directly above the city. The mysterious visitor, gazing down upon the once pristine city, now ravaged by conflict and chaos; it pondered on how it may have once represented the hope of a better future; now it is nothing more than a monument to the waste of promise its creators had held. However, the moment it realizes that this broken world was actually a simulacrum of a certain insignificant blue ball of dust; the visitor lets out a keening, metallic chuckle; amused and slightly ashamed for actually feeling pity for the lowly humans. It's mirth and curiosity satisfied for now, the creature puts its senses to use in an attempt to find who or whatever its master had sent it here for, and to its surprise; the first thing it detects is an incredibly familiar signature: A massive gravitational anomaly, a phenomenon that shouldn't really be in the gravity well of a Planet as small as Earth, let alone exist for any extended period of time. Knowing that this signature can only be caused by one creature in the entire cosmos, the visitor makes a beeline towards it; albeit at a slower speed than how it had exited the rift, as crashing into any of the still-standing spires and/or skyscrapers in its massively reduced stature and seeing if it survives is not an idea it would like to entertain.
