Kiran Ali Khan - Mission Start "Well, then it'd probably be in everyone's best interests if I don't meet these Haven girls. After all, I'm not sure the world could withstand such excessive blabbering." Kiran quipped back right before Noelle received the honour of meeting the prideful swordsman on the team. Good old Varius Gilver, always at a loss when it came towards first impressions. Then again, at least this time the swordsman realized his mistake and apologized. It was progress at least. "I apologize on behalf of my teammate," Kiran was quick to add after Varius' departure into the shuttle, "He's a bit lacking in the social department but he means well. As for the flurry of questions," Kiran chuckled as he followed after Noelle into the shuttle, "Taidan, the name was indeed correct, should already be awaiting us inside. And yes, feel free to leave you stuff on the ship." No sooner had Kiran finished answering the flurry of questions, did Taidan make his own introductions. In stark contrast to Varius, Taidan was practically beaming with positive energy. Not that Kiran expected anything less from the team's token pretty boy and pyromaniac extraordinaire. The boy's exuberant nature was infectious and omnipresent. "I'll leave the two of you get acquainted." Kiran interjected as he made his way into the back of the ship where his gauntlet and sword awaited him. Mehri and Sharaman, it'd been far too long since he'd had the pleasure of wielding them in battle. Donning Mehri on his left arm and sheathing Sharaman on his back brought a sense of comfort that Kiran had sorely missed. The two were extensions of his own being and they were finally back in their rightful place. In a word, Kiran felt whole again. A grin spreading across his face at the prospect of the hunt, Kiran made his way towards the front of the airship as he signaled for the pilot to begin his ascent. It was time for the mission to begin.
Napoli Fiordilatte - Time for War "Gratia" A voice hissed through the airship, cutting through Gratia's barrage and Beryl's feeble attempt at placation. The voice carried a simple message with it: Shut up. It was the first time since reading the letter that Napoli had spoken, but the Mistrali Hunter had little intention of allowing his faith to be determined without his consent. Much less allow his faith to be determined by the trigger happy Gratia while Bianca's life was on the line. Rescuing their teammate required tact, something the team's berserker lacked. "Beryl, while I appreciate your attempt at a peaceful solution, I'm not sitting this one out." The duelist asserted before turning his attention towards Vega and Gratia, "And the fact that both of you appear to be forgetting, is that I'm only one out of us three with any capacity for stealth. I don't carry a dagger for show. Beryl and I will infiltrate then signal you in once Bianca's been located." "After all, I'm not letting Bianca die cause we got trigger happy and alerted every guard in the town." The solemn weight his words carried was abnormal for the generally carefree jokester, but right now his mind was focused on a single solitary objective: Rescuing Bianca. And the Hunter-in-training would be damned before he allowed careless actions to cost his teammate her life. They were going up against the Dodici Cosca, and while they may have been a bunch of dirty lowlifes, that didn't mean they weren't a threat. They would pay for their transgressions, but only after Bianca was safely by their side.
