Argus Leandros
Argus' question about whether things could be solved peacefully was immediately answered as he felt a surge of rage building behind him, followed by a black orb shooting into the sky, which promptly formed a black poetal overhead, which was quick to dispense a hail of stellar meteorites upon his position. However, thanks to his quick reflexes, he was able to launch himself out of the attack zone with a blast of energy before he really began to take damage. As he landed, he looked up just in time to see Ike summon his spear, readying to throw it at Isla's prone form. Time seem to slow down to a crawl as Argus's mind exploded with rage and pain, the actions of the present over-lapping much too closely with events from the past. He instinctively summoned Crimson Nightmare, pumping magic into the blade's edge as he activated his property change to shift his power from Energy to lightning, before launching a slash towards the spear, sending a speeding blade of black and red lightning rushing forward to catch the spear, easily slicing through it and killing it's momentum. It wasn't until after the attack had hit that he realized that his breathing had changed from wild and anxious to calm and collected. His emotions and thoughts were orderly, if single-minded, and most importantly, he no longer saw Ike as anything more than a piece of flesh to be cut down. "Damn. . . I let myself slip." Argus chuckled, a hollow laugh missing any actual cheer as he turned his eyes towards Ike. The rage coming off him was perfect in it's intensity, more than strong enough to make this battle his. With a single inhale, he consumed that energy from Ike in the form of a black and crimson cloud, feeling a rush of euphoria run through him along with the raw emotion pumpimg into his body. The very next second, he blasted himself forward, launching a solid strike with his blade, aiming to slam the dull sword into Ike's gut and pin him to the ground with it, sending a strong pulse of Crimson Lightning into the blade to hopefully paralyze him, either from the pain of the shocks(which would be very, very intense) or the fact that they scrambled the nerves quite a lot. This manuver could possiblely endanger even kill Ike, as the lightning coursing through the blade is sharpening the edge quite a bite. Just an inch too much presdure and his innards would be his outtards. [@Oblivion666] [@liferusher] [@Lugubrious]
