Haha, I hadn't thought about Richards' sexuality or interests. As he's a pretty laid back guy, and has a sense of humour, I expect he'll jokingly flirt back and be good-natured and quietly amused by the whole thing. 

I'm loving that we have a lot of characters with really strong personalities and identities this time around. I'm looking forward to the social interactions as much as the combat and operations.
