BoP Fleet, Asari Transcendence Arcadia-2 Commander Miranda Keyes
"Exiting universal jump, Ma'am." The Transcendence was the first ship to suddenly and violently appear in the atmosphere of Arcadia-2. There was a loud crack as if a lightning bolt struck that reverberated across the farmland below and eventually reached the city that lay just on the horizon. Several more ships would appear shortly after, each with its own audible entrance to anyone and everything in range of the entry point. Even after the last shockwave of entry had swept through the land, denizens of this area could hear and feel the low rumbling of the ships' powerful engines. "Sitrep. Where are we?" Miranda Keyes sternly called out to no individual in particular. "Earth, although I don't think this is the one we were looking for, Ma'am." Someone from the command deck called back. "Then take us out of atmosphere. Deploy all drones and sweep the planet for confirmation. Put scout teams on standby and send them out before we escape atmosphere." Miranda ordered as she leaned back in her chair, rubbing her chin quizzically as the officers and enlisted saluted with a "Yes, Ma'am!". She was sure that they had been on course for Arcadia-1 so why had they ended up elsewhere. Data was limited but they were looking for a barren Earth, not one that was still lush. The whole fleet began a steady ascent with a trajectory that would have them fly over the nearby city in an unintentional but impressive display of power. The ships were far up in the stratosphere before they reached the city so risk of impact was just as likely as the fleet being interpreted as hostile, entirely ignoring the city. The only thing invasive was the loud rumbling of their engines as they flew overhead. It didn't take a keen eye to notice that it was a mix of ships but it would take a very keen one to notice the call to arms painted on each ship. A large black bird with a red background was printed on every ship, a symbol that most wouldn't know but the Birds of Prey were scattered and large enough that a few might. Right as the ships had cleared the city, Pelican transports were dispatched carrying small scouting crews to follow the drones in their search for the terminal to Arcadia-1.
