[Spruce] Celes actually moves a little closer to me in some sort of effort to keep me warmer, and, well, it actually worked. Celes starts talking about how she should have become a flareon to stay warm in these kinds of climates, and how Josh saved her life just now... and I somehow end up hugging her after that, saying "Oh... well, I'm sorry, I guess I should have been on the lookout for any fire stones, huh?" I had an oddly humorous tone in my voice as I said that. I continued to sit there as Josh explained that he found some sort of exit, and that Matt should be nearby. That seemed really nice, just, some sort of exit to this place before we ALL go insane from it. I then get up, and ask Daniel "Hey, Daniel, do you think you can fly up and find an exit, real quick? Of course, I'd like it if you can find the one with Matt near it, too," Daniel then flies straight up for a short time... and then flies back down to say "Follow me, I know where the exit is, now," Daniel then starts flying in some direction, and I say "Well, you heard the bird, let's go," after that, I start following Daniel through the frozen forest, and all the way to some sort of frozen city... Matt was there, and he was floating back and forth, worriedly, for some odd reason. He seemed to be in a better mood once he saw Daniel and I meet up with him. "Huh... looks like Anthony wasn't lying, after all... this place really IS in trouble... problem is, it looks like we're a little late, huh, Matt?" I then say in an oddly cheery tone for what I just saw. Of course, if someone contacted us, or, rather, contacted someone, there was probably SOME way of fixing the town, some way of reversing this... frozen thing. [hr] [Anthony] Kamina seemed to be happy for Spruce and Celes, and, I suppose I couldn't really argue, and heck, M even seemed happy... odd, though, I actually assumed that he couldn't smile due to being a machine, but, I guess he found a way. I mean, at least it gave him some sort of distraction from criticizing my lack of speed, or anything else that I did that made him mad at the time. Kamina asked how close we were to the end just after Josh explained that Matt was at the exit to the forest. In fact, that seemed to be on Spruce's mind, too, as he had Daniel fly up and find a way out of this place... as if... they were openly co-operating, rather than at eachother's necks all the time. That was enough to bring a smile to my face on its own, however, the fact that Daniel not only found the exit, but Matt as well sure didn't do anything to stop my smile. Spruce darted off, following Daniel's directions to the exit, and, I can only assume that Kamina did, as well, after all, he happily told his teammates to follow him, or, rather, to follow Daniel. I finally made it to the exit, and I saw Matt speaking with Spruce about the frozen city. As soon as I noticed the city was frozen, my smile went away. "Dang... uh... looks like we're a little late, huh? Now I guess I know WHY you told me to hurry up, earlier, Spruce. I'm sorry for being so slow," Spruce, however, didn't seem to listen, at all, and I simply hid in my helmet, and stayed on top of Kamina's head, not wanting to cause even more issues just from holding us back, just from us getting here too late to save Josh's girlfriend. [hr] [Bonnie] Thankfully, I was still in a good enough mood to handle dragging Tini over to his room, and I even asked for seconds at dinnertime just to make sure he wouldn't go hungry. I placed my seconds next to his bed so they'd be the first things he saw when he woke up. I then drifted into sleep. The dream I had was a good one, it had all of my friends, even Spruce, surrounding me and praising me for all my hard work at the guild... it was also in color for the first time in a while, and, for once, my father didn't even make an appearance, though, I had to wonder... I always got back before dinnertime, but were there some guild members who stayed out later than that? I guess there were nocturnal pokemon, like those weird dark types, and hoothoot. Oddly enough, I actually saw a few of these nocturnal pokemon at the dinner table, even if I didn't see them at all during the day. Maybe that was just breakfast for them? I then remember some random rumor I heard a while back about how guilds would occasionally hold expeditions that would take days just to get to the dungeon, let alone complete it... but, what would the members do for food during that time? Would they just have to bring their own food for dinners and breakfasts, or would the guild, itself actually provide food just for on the road meals? These questions bounced around in my head all throughout the night, though I still somehow managed to actually sleep, despite all those questions I had right now. [hr] [Nina] Rebecca insisted that there wasn't an issue, and I ended up responding with "Right... but, it's not like I could have told Archie that we MEANT to leave that place, right? He'd have us do some cleaning duty, or be the sentries for the night, or something," I then walk over to Rebecca, glad that the geodude finally left us alone, and she asks if help's on the way, to which, I responded with "Yup. Some sort of 'field agent'... probably just another member who doesn't have a team, or something," I then sat down across from her, and she asked whether we should stay, or explore. "We can explore this place tomorrow, but... if we want any chance of getting rescued, we're going to have to stay put... even if it's a mystery dungeon, there's a better chance of getting found when we're not constantly moving around, right?... well, that and this is some nice scenery," I then started to just look at the giant, bright, yellow crystal that was right behind Rebecca, and wondered how, exactly it got so bright... and so big. That thing had to be seven, maybe eight feet tall... or I was just exaggerating. Thankfully, no more wild pokemon came around, but, I also noticed that our rufflet friend decided to fly off somewhere. I wondered if we'll ever find him again. He was a pretty big help back there in Sunswept plains, but, I guess he had something else he had to do. Heck, for all I knew, he left to go pick on the fighting types in this area, if there are any. There probably were, 'cause for whatever reason, fighting types like to surround themselves with rock types. I never understood that, but, then again, I'm not a fighting type.
