Drake smiled back to Lesley after getting the water so fast.  Xaven felt her taking his arm, gripping it.  he placed his hand over top of hers. "im here Nessie" he said.  "me too Ness" Ralph said. "you know i got your back" Drake said to her.  Xaven could feel her emotions in turmoil, and luckily he was familular to feeling other emotions, since they connected to each other as wolves, he was use to it, and he new he could help as well, since she was his mate, he let his love for her, his devotion that no normal human would never have for their woman flow into her through their connection.  Drake and Ralph turned, Xaven nodded for them to go, and they went on down the stairs. "thanks Lesley, not for now but for taking care of her for me all these years, i am forever in your debt and i will never forget it" Xaven said to her, before it was just him and Nessie upstairs.  

"no problem" Ralph said. "you knew what you were doing, we didnt.. made sense to follow your lead" Drake nodded. "i hope she's alright" before looking to Lesley.  before she cradled his face in her hands, and her touch sent fire through his veins as he growled low with want, as his wolf scent before pouring off him.. like the smell of pine trees in the rain.. very woodsy scent.  and when her lips, just lightly kissed his, which he gladly returned, before she broke the kiss and headed into the kitchen.  Drake's eyes had shifted to wolf as he followed after her.  his animal in him strong wanting to take her and claim her as his.. Ralph cut him off. "no, no!" he said. "Drake, your eyes man.. go.. you gotta go run before you change!" he said gently.  "Drake!" Xaven said. "go check the mailbox for us" which was like a mile back up the driveway.  "yea" Drake said. "i'll be back" he said, before he bolted out of the house, and sprinted fast up the drive way.  Xaven hated using the command on his friends, but sometimes it was needed.  

turning and looking back to Nessie. "come on back to me beautiful" he whispered. "im here, and will not be going anywhere"
