DURGA'S OLD FRIEND Name: Crow Identity: Lee Yun, presumed dead. City of Operation: New York City, New York Appearance: Three years ago, Lee woke up and saw her eye colour had changed to a vibrant red. She prepared herself a sandwich and upon eating it, realized she'd also grown fangs. Long and sharp enough that when she bit her lip in accident, she bled all over the sandwich. Lee resembles a vampire more than anything these days, with deathly pale skin, vibrant red eyes and long fangs. Nearly always having a stain of fresh blood on her clothing or skin only enhances that relation. Age: 26 Gender: Female Superpowers: Enhanced body capabilities. The change turned her into a superhuman on all fields but intelligence. She can run a bit faster than Olympic athletes for minutes at a time, she can take down heavy, strong men with a moderate amount of effort and most importantly, she's become more perceptive. Her senses of hearing, sight, smell, touch and taste have been enhanced to the point that certain items can be created to drive her into insane fits of rage. Items that emit sounds she despises or that smell like the purest blood or the easiest prey can be used to fool her or torture her. Blood is the essence of life, and so whenever Lee drinks fresh blood, her injuries are healed and she gets a small boost to her speed and strength. On the other hands, her senses grow foggy and go into a state similar to a drug-induced high. After years of having to rely on blood to heal her injuries quickly, Lee's become so addicted to it that she finds herself killing people nearly every week just to have a taste of their delicious blood. Skills/ Talents: - Martial Artist. She's practiced Shotokan Karate for seven years, since she was 19 years old. She got to 2nd Dan in her Black Belt before she had to leave the ISKF and go practice in underground Dojos, which focused more on killing and maiming than self-defense. To be considered a master at the art, Lee considers she's still got about a decade to go, but she's been able to take down more than a few dozen people so far with her skills. - Disguise. Looking like a Vampire all the time isn't the best way to avoid authorities and super heroes. She's become skilled at disguising herself and moving around unnoticed. She even manages to make slight changes to her voice tone and manner of speech in order to be even more convincing. - Assassination, kidnapping, hijacking, bombing, shootings all come easy to her. Due to her enhanced body, she's able to escape every single time, only finding it difficult whenever Durga appears. Equipment: - Whenever she's in a disguise: A set of thin body armour beneath her casual clothing, a knife, cellphone, wallet with fake identity, bubblegum, notepad with fake appointments scribbled into it, a condom. - Whenever she's prepared for a big show: Body armour designed to stop assault rifle rounds, including a helmet and face mask, cellphone, Glock 17 handgun, combat knife. Whatever amount of thugs she manages to bring along with her for the mission also count there. Weaknesses: - Blood Addiction: The reason she hits and runs in such record times is because the longer she's forced to stay i nthe scene of one of her crimes, the more drugged up she becomes with the scent of blood. - Truly Alone: She has very few allies since Durga shut her whole operation down last year. While she was able to escape, her whole gang was destroyed and she had to start from scratch. She's got a small force now, consisting of barely a dozen people whom go out on crimes every now and then to help with their financial problems. - Best Friends Forever: Durga may not have realized it yet, but Lee often goes to the same bar she frequents and converses with her every now and then while in one of her disguises. There's no need to explain how reckless of a move this is on Lee's part. Psyche: Before she changed and consuming fresh blood became a constant desire to Lee, she wanted to one day open up her own Dojo and train people in Karate. After she changed, this dream stayed, only that it twisted somewhere along the way and now she wishes to train people in Karate and turn her into monsters like her. She's tried to hire a few mad scientists before to help her figure out what she was and how to turn people into beings like herself, but Durga always showed up and imprisoned the scientists before they could make a breakthrough. Other than being a freak and getting hot whenever she can smell or taste blood, she enjoys things normal people enjoy, like watching movies, TV series or gaming. Lee remembers suffering panic attacks and frequent emotional breakdowns the first few months of her transformation. She did end up killing children because she was curious about how their blood tasted, after all. These days, she doesn't bother herself with thinking much about her blood-drinking habits, because she knows that if she thinks too much about it, the attacks will come back. History: Lee Yun was born to a family of Asian immigrants and has lived in New York City her entire life. After she graduated from High School, Lee entered a local College, where she met Priya Chatterjee, who went on to become her best friend throughout most of College. After graduation, they rented an apartment for the both of them and split the costs, a plan that'd help them get on their feet in their respective paths. Everything changed when one fateful day, Priya and Lee woke up to both of them sporting crazy physical changes. A week passed with them trying to figure out what went wrong, until Priya found Lee bathing in the blood of a dead man in her bedroom. When Lee tried to attack Priya, Priya defended herself and kicked Lee out of the window to fall to her death. Only Lee didn't die. By the moment Priya peeked out of the window, Lee had licked the blood off her skin and healed her broken legs. Priya chased after her, and a huge fight ended up in the destruction of their apartment and the supposed death of Lee Yun along with the rise of Durga, the super heroine. But Lee's body couldn't be found, and months later, a super villain by the name of Crow started terrorizing New York City's streets. Making her debut by shooting up a park favored by the elderly and publicly drinking the blood of several of her victims, she quickly became the NYPD's and Durga's most wanted criminal. Her second attack was made to a Highschool, where she, along with a dozen other people presumed her allies, performed mass murder. Again, Crow was seen drinking the blood of several of the kids. Then there was the third attack, made on an elementary school. While Crow and her subordinates were shooting up a Super Market, Durga appeared, bursting through a wall and obliterating the subordinate in front of Crow. The kids in the hallway ran faster, Crow tried to shoot at Durga, but Durga sent her gun flying across the floor. The two engaged in a show of martial arts, and at the moment Crow was nearly defeated, five of her subordinates appeared and distracted Durga long enough for Crow to escape. Since then, Crow has been subtler in her approach to harvesting blood and has employed several scientists in order to figure out how to turn people into beings similar to her. Earning money by hiring themselves out as a mercenary group, the Crows made a great name for themselves until Durga found out about their base of operations. The super heroine, along with the help of the NYPD, raided Crow's base and destroyed the entirety of her resources and manpower. She was forced to start from scratch. Nowadays, Crow has rebuilt some of her former power, with the only difference being that she's started to seek out other super powered beings to join her cause, the cause of profit and blood-drinking sadism. Right before her next scheduled hit on a certain bank, Crow received a first-class ticket to St. Louis and instructions for a clandestine meeting. At first, she'd dismissed the meeting in favour of her schedule, but when one of her subordinates messed up and got himself locked up, she decided to lay low for a while, and going to the clandestine meeting didn't seem that bad after all. With the news of the Hero Coalition still fresh in her mind, she finally decided to throw caution to the wind and assist. If worse came to worse, she'd be able to taste some new blood.
