[@cultural titan] To put it into detail as I would understand it, historically, while wolves have been seen as symbols of strength and loyalty, their actual presence has long been hated. So much so that countries actually succeeded in purging wolves of all kinds completely from their borders and forests. That's the inspiration for that. As Adria would understand it, well, she really wouldn't. As it would have happened before she was born. Now as to what it would be magically, it would be the actions of a village or country performing those same purges mentioned above, but with magic. However, universally across all media involving magic, the stronger the magic the harder it is to perform, control, and the more likely it is to backfire. A spell made to wipe out a species entirely would be extremely powerful magic. Thus, the creation of the wolf people would a product of a backfire. The defensive sound traps work by charging the area with sound magic, much the same way as she would her lute. The difference being that since the magic is spread out, not concentrated into a single item, it would go off in a cacophony of disorienting, and possibly deafening sound when someone made contact with the infused area. I chose not to name the settlement as I am particularly awful at naming things, and more then likely the time it would take for me to think of names, and decide on them, would have made me give up. If you truly need one, I can come up with one later. The music is more of a dream then anything. There isn't any single reason beyond it has always been something she has enjoyed doing, and performing for people has always made her happy. Its the same reason I enjoy cooking. Theres no real reason I enjoy it, I just enjoy doing so and like it when people like the food I make. The event in the swamp traumatized her due to her age, in much the same way that many small children are traumatized when they catch glimpses of slasher movies. The difference being that Adria saw it happen right in front of her. She would have heard the screams, saw the blood. Possibly would have even gotten splattered depending on how close the person was. All in the dead of night. Suffice to say, that is a whirlwind of fears that already terrifying to small children when viewed in a setting that is known to be false, happening in a way she knows is real, and in a way that she knew she could be next. Would this perhaps be enough detail? I know you said I didn't need to cover every point, but I did try my best. To be frank, Adria is my least developed character and that's part of the reason I am RPing as her, so I can develop her more.
