If someone else, simply for an example, follows in your footsteps and makes a Trooper. They'll look at yours for an example and see that and do one of two things. A) They have to one up your Dark Saber somehow or B) They have to outdo you without using something better than a Dark Saber. On top of that, pre-Clone Wars lore stated it took a strong Dark Side connection to make it work in the first place. I'm willing to wave the lore bit, but I'd rather avoid potential problems.
