[@thewizardguy] Stephen stood ready for apocalypse, his arm blurring and sonic booms coming off the strikes as he made a cross cut along the creature's body, the cells along the cut severed perfectly which would have killed most creatures, yet the one before him was not most creatures. It's skin knit together nearly instantly, the wounds which should have rendered it at least phased did nothing as it simply ran while it healed, going mach two almost immediately, the sheer acceleration rate catching Stephen off guard only for him to lower briefly into a runner's stance before launching himself full tilt at the monstrous being that had shrugged off his blows so easily. While he could catch it easily, the speed at which they were going had given it a considerable head start in the mere seconds it had been given, giving it enough time to easily encroach on the god emperor's domain only for a gout of fire and light to encompass it completely. Like a smite from the heavens the sky seemed to open up to lay fire and raw energy down on the creature, dissolving it at an atomic level and reforming it into a puddle of assorted, raw elements on the floor, the shockwave from the attack creating the only real problem for the crystal-clad warrior as it was strong enough that it completely demolished the remnants of his clothing that had survived the gravity bomb, shielding the wounded krogan from the raw kinetic force as he was launched back, using his blade to catch himself before the heat began to pour out. While thermal energy was easily converted into the mystical energy Stephen's body craved, the sheer amount being presented to him created a rather interesting challenge in terms of developing the proper surface area and storage space to house it. In less than a second, Stephen righted himself on the ground and twisted the hilt of his sword, urging it to expand into a mighty shield, protecting himself and the unconscious krogan as he braced himself. The heat seemed to twist and sink into the shield, the flames seeming to be eaten as though by a beast of infinite appetite, only causing said shield to grow bigger and bigger until it was the size of a small home, Stephen's body sharing the load the energy presented while the kinetic force caused the crystalline structures to take on a surprisingly menacing appearance as it grew. Once the blast had ended and the personal battles against it lay complete in either victory or defeat, stephen rose with a sigh, his crystals having formed into proper armor (as well as a covering due to the destruction of his clothes) he began to walk over to the god emperor, completely oblivious to the titles and strength this particular individual had before doing something rather ubsurd: flicking his forehead like a parent might a child. "Think before you blast idiot. you nearly killed everyone here, and don't try and write it off as 'oh, this creature had to be destroyed right then and there' NO you're strong enough that you could have transported it elsewhere before blasting it so that no one was put at risk." Stephen yelled, chewing out the closest thing to a god the people gathered there had ever come into contact by before pinching the bridge of his nose in exasperation. He was quite clearly human despite his augments and seemed to remain untainted by the powers of chaos. In fact he appeared to be untainted by most anything really, though he did give of the same strange, heavenly aura the emperor himself exuded, creating a unique dilema where the one that thought himself to be the grandfather of all men was being chewed out by one of his own.
