Mailsi smiled back as Casey as the smaller kid entered her line of view. She couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her lips, even if she had wanted to, as she watched his face. When he turned back though he tactfully changed the conversation. He was a better person than she was. Granted, a lot of people were better than her, not that she really cared. As long as she didn't go full on Super Villain she counted herself as a win. "Calculus." Mailsi made a face, making sure to respond in English, not her native language. Because that would be rude. "It was fine. Though I don't think I'll ever get over Aunt Kara teaching it. It's weird." Mailsi shifted on her feet and laughed at Casey's next remark about theater. She didn't call him out on it, but still. "Richard... Richard..." Mailsi mused, trying to put a face to the name. Before she was able to exert too much mental effort her thoughts were interrupted. "You forgot something in Calculus, Mailsi. Me." Anyone who knew Mailsi would recognize the faint blush and the slight tilt of her shoulders as shame and embarrassment. But it was gone in less than a second and her cocky bluster was back. "Relax Kent. I didn't forget you, I abandoned you to the wolves." She smiled broadly and reached out to ruffled the Krytonian' hair. "But seriously," Mailsi continued. "With the glare Aunt Kara sent my way, there was no way I was gonna stick around." She made a face to emphasis the unspoken fact that she stood no chance against her Aunt, super powers are not. Aunt Kara had just but ask and Mailsi would do anything for her, even take over the world. Not that it would ever come to that. "Did she yell loudly?" Mailsi was dying to know why Kieran had to have a heart to heart with Kara. "Are you in trouble?" The last was actually tinged with concern. They weren't best buds by any means. But he was still almost family, and Mailsi had precious few people that counted. While she might come across like a witch, but with a B, she still cared. She just didn't show it often. Or at all sometimes.
