Well it was either they join or die, and the Golden Guardians are a merciful sort.

Though I'm trying my best to make the Golden Guardians seem less robotic. Despite their adherence that they got to be the stoic protectors of the Infinitum, they have an idea that their current attitude isn't going to endear them to the populace (And it'll be best if the local law gets the support of the community, yeah?). Hence why they tried to recruit the neighborhood watch, helped kids, and heal drunks instead of hurt them.
