Rasputin was quite surprised by the fact Dianna was still flying. He was pretty sure her tail getting caught and crushed like that would at the very least impede her ability to fly straight. Nevertheless, his onslaught seemed effective enough. However, in the distance, he now saw light. It wouldn't be long until they reached the end of the tunnel, and with it, the end of his advantageous position. He himself was getting tired too.He had to stop this dragon dead in her tracks here and now. He gathered all his remaining strength. The darkness twisted and contored, and a set of wicked knives flew at diana. Evidently, they weren't aimed well, as they sailed right past her and planted themselves up to the hilt in the stone tunnel walls. Quality was not the goal here though. That was quantity. More daggers formed in the darkness and hurled themselves at the dragons. Way too many to reasonably dodge. WIth his strength finally failing him, Rasputin used the last few shreds of shadow remaining to propel himself back into his car. He could only hope the storm of daggers would be enough to finally get that dragon off his back.
