Soren just wanted to get this underway, he didn't much care for what he did. The only reason that hunting had been the first thing he thought of was from experience in doing so, and being able to fight of Grimm. But then he also knew his limits, and going out alone into the wilderness would spell a death sentence, even for him. He had been about to propose that someone else join him when Lyra suggested she hunt in his stead, even with no prior experience in it. Meeting her glance uncertainly for a moment he let out a sigh, then turning his focus to Owyn when the other boy was questioned. Supervise? Was that it? And then what did that mean Ulyssa was doing? Hm, perhaps he and Lyra should hunt, and the other two could sort out whatever their plan was. "Or, you help me put up some kind of shelter and these two go hunt," Ulyssa interjected, reaching over and grabbing Owyn's shirt, pulling him to her side, "I know a gentleman like you would never leave a woman to fend for herself, right? And he certainly wouldn't make her do all the work, unless he's got a superiority complex and is too good for that work?" Smiling slyly she then released her teammate, clapping her hands together in a dusting motion before placing them on her hips. "I think that sounds like a better idea! It makes sense for both you two to go anyways, that way you get a chance to learn to hunt Lyra," she continued, then looking up at Soren and pointing up at his face, "And you, make sure she makes it back safe, okay? I saw how you fight, she shouldn't have so much as a scratch on her when she returns." If they had three days to go then they needed to stay completely healthy, meaning even the most minimal of injuries couldn't be afforded; she didn't feel the need to tell Soren to be careful, she wasn't too concerned about him. "Alright, alright, jeez... She'll come back without any injury, you have my word," Soren said defensively as he looked away, crossing his arms over his chest, "Fair warning, neither of you expect a huge meal tonight. There's no telling what we'll find out there, could be a buffet or could be one measly squirrel." One of the luxuries of being in a city he supposed, you knew where to get food and how consistent it would be. An sure, back home it was relatively consistent still, but the small vendors and shops in his town paled in comparison to the sprawling stores here in Vale. Slipping his weapon out of its holster on his back, Soren gave it a flick to extend the blade to full length, and resting it over his shoulder he turned and started walking into the brush. "Come on Lyra, keep close. Don't know where Grimm might be lurking." There, everyone was happy with that decision it seemed! Or almost everyone, there was a distinct feeling in the air that Owyn was displeased. Though they were teammates and should be supportive Ulyssa found it difficult to worry about his pettiness, more keen on making their group work than pleasing everyone. "Good luck you two, bring us back something tasty!" she called, smiling as she waved after the pair. Once they were out of sight she folded her hands together once more, surveying their immediate area for something to work with. They weren't going to set up camp right here, but she figured they could at least grab some useful bits if they spotted any. "Let me think... I read once in a book that using branches and fronds is an excellent way of making a shelter, so maybe we should look for those..." Ulyssa mumbled, walking over to a dead tree and giving it a tap with her knuckles to see how solid it was. Dead, but still good, hopefully it would work well for them. Brandishing her sword she jumped up a couple of times and sliced some branches free, smiling as she pointed to them on the ground. "Carry them and be a dear? I'll gather and you haul, seems like a fair deal don't you think?" she asked, her smile taking on a more teasing note as she tilted her head, "Unless it's too much work for the man?"
