I'd rather him eventually go down the Avenger path rather than retreat to the X-verse. The idea was to get into him being a billionaire playboy philanthropist a bit while he settles into becoming a hero in his own right. His company will mostly be cheaper medicines and pharmaceuticals, with their own manufacturing buildings, distributing vans for NYC and trucks for anything out of state, and R&D labs. More biology and less technology. 

He would seem kinda repetitive though with FalCap in the team with his man-made wings and all. But if shit gets too heavy he could be a reserve and know a few Avengers from team-ups and stuff. His blood can heal others, I'd imagine in an alien war situation or robot invasion that'd be kinda useful.
