In a world where heroes are a thing of the past, where villains are all in the dust and anyone left with powers is either in hiding or working for the throne only one being has any real power. One being stands above the rest, the world in his grip. Occasionally there are stirrings in the lower levels of society, mutants from the wastes rise up against their rightful ruler or a group of humans band together with the hope of escaping. Though few ever do, with Dystopia being one of the only places inhabitable on the planet by regular humans after the Nuclear war long forgotten. 

As such only mutants really have the capability to resist Maestro, even as far as going on to form a resistance led by a mysterious figure. However this is all about to change, things are in motion that could possibly destabilize the entire timeline. What once was, will no longer be. However if our heroes are not ready, the future will change. However it will change into a future far worse than we could ever imagine...

[b]What is this?[/b]

Future Imperfect is an Alternate Future Reality story set in the All-Star Marvel Universes future... or at least one possible future anyway. Maestro, like in the typical Future Imperfect timeline now rules what's left of humanity in the wastelands of Earth. Outside the borders of Dystopia the Brotherhood minds it's own business, trying to build the ultimate Mutant Society. Rarely interacting with Dystopia or the rest of man-kind for the fear of Maestro.

However some Mutants and Humans band together. Forming the resistance in the bid to try to remove Maestro and return Dystopia to the ways of old. Where people were free...

[b]Who can I play?[/b]

If you currently have a character in All-Star Marvel that has a long life feel free to bring them across. Though just remember that the timeline of the ASM thread differs from the moment Doctor Doom travels to the future... so while some things may still occur they won't be exactly the same. If you want to play some new form of legacy character (Or you need to as your current character won't survive through hundreds of years and a nuclear war) then there will be a sheet template.

[b]Why should I do this?[/b]

ASM is great. I just want to try something a bit different with it, something with a singular story contrary to the Sandbox-ness of ASM. It also gives us the chance to play around with characters without worrying about the outcome. Only one who needs to do that is me, as I need to try and keep Doom alive.

[b]Will this happen on a different thread?[/b]

That is up-to [@Dedonus]. It would make sense to me for it to be on a separate thread that pays homage to this one. Though if he wants we can also run it here. I am also not going to run it without his blessing.
