Cinera listened to his speak in an almost awe-like state. Where had that come from? Honestly, watching him standing there, bathed in the light of the morning's glow, she felt like she was in some sort of cheesy war movie. Watching it on TV was one thing, but being here in front of someone like that was actually quite inspiring! Warmth flooded through her body as she began to feel more safe and secure around this gentleman. There was just something about the whole idea of the guild that made her feel happy and protected. No, not just the guild... Delcastle, himself. Something about him set her at ease. Even so, he had mentioned that they would influence the main fighting. How exactly were they planning to do that without getting involved? And as he said, bodies were something necessary to win battles... No matter what they did, battles would be needed to win the war. 100 floors worth of battles. Sure, the larger guilds could pave the way the higher floors, but people would still die. People have already died. "But is it... Is it okay?" She asked, hesitantly. "Is it okay for us to just take the safe route when so many others are risking their lives?" As soon as she said this, she laughed a little. "I mean, I guess I would just be in the way on the front lines, in this state... But so many people are going to die trying to get out of this game, and not many people seem to be bothered. Everyone is still playing the damn game." Tears welled up in her eyes as she thought about this, and a bit of the panic from last night began to resurface. "Whatever we do, people are still going to die in here. People have died. Is playing this game going to change any of that...?" Of course it wouldn't. She knew the answer to these questions. But even still... No. She was focusing on what had already happened. Like it or not, they were stuck in this game. They couldn't just sit here and let that sadistic psychopath win. People were going to die, but this guild was taking the smart path; they would gain their strength and build their resources to help those who were fighting at the front. They would need somebody to support them, and Cinera knew she could at least do that. She gently grabbed Delcastle's hand. "Okay. I want to help. I don't want anymore people to die if they don't have to... I want to be that support for them." A small smile crossed her lips as a small, single tear dribbled down her cheek. She had made her decision, why waste anymore time? She needed to get stronger. Delcastle knew exactly what he was doing and she was in full support. "I'll do anything you need me to do. I just want to get stronger." His grip was strong and his hand was warm, full of life. Her first comrade. She was the weak link in this group... She needed to get stronger so that she could protect them. If this game turned out anything like her non-VR games, these people would become her good friends along this journey. Cinera hated the thought of letting them down. As he winked, her cheeks flushed a sort of bright red, inadvertently. He was quite the charmer, wasn't he? She ha thought of his speech as cheesy, but honestly... It may have been just the motivation she needed.
