“Zara know’s telepathy, watch yourself or we are going to have two grand psychers turning us into mulch for their deamons.” "Why should I be worried?" Adrianne turned to look back at Aviza with a cheerful smile. "Her abilities makes me feel so much more safer that there are no imperial spies amidst our ranks. We don't need that filth running around here. The night is ours!" Adrianne simply chuckled, not seeming the least bit worried compared to Aviza. To hear from Aviza that Zara was in fact a telepath was no surprise for Adrianne. She did not worry much about Zara's telepathic abilities. Adrianne was an experienced psyker herself, and had spent her life shielding her mind from the influence of daemons and chaos. Some would say half a psyker's entire existence revolved around turning their minds into impenetrable fortresses of mental fortitude, lest they slip and be forever lost. Glancing over at Zara with a smile, Adrianne suspected that Zara already knew that she herself was a psyker. While a telepath might not be able to pierce her mind without any great exertion, a telepath could nonetheless notice the mental barrier around her that was so common with psykers. "I don't think we three are the only psykers in this party. Knowing cults, as much as one fourth of the other guests in this room might have psychic abilities." She knew that much about cults. Having psychic powers was often seen as a gift within chaos cults, and members with such powers typically rose up the ranks with greater ease than their mundane peers, seen as having a greater connection to the warp; and by extension, their deities of worship. “Elleynah, would you join me for a moment, I need some fresh air as well.” "What, already?" Adrianne asked with a frown as she looked up at Aviza, already in the process of examining a purple alien steak of some kind. "I haven't even taken the first bite! ... oh well, fine. But let's make it quick. I'm hungry!" Adrianne said somewhat begrudgingly as she got up from her chair and moved to follow Aviza. Why Aviza was more uncomfortable was not much of a mystery. Adrianne suspected that next to herself, Aviza might appear like an open book to any advanced telepath. To think about what kind of knowledge any psyker at the party could potentially excavate from Aviza was worrisome to say the least! As they had walked a little further away, Adrianne would lean in to talk. "So... what kind of trip do you want to take?"
