“YESSSS!” he exclaimed and swung his arm around Hunter’s shoulders, sloshing the contents of the other two shots as he did so. “Don’t worry, mate. It’s just vacation; I won’t let you get too crazy. Back on the wagon right after!” Jar winked mischievously. Fenris took his share of the single barrel whiskey and they all knocked back the first shot together. Jareth poured them all a second chaser shot and, before the others could pound it down, he said “Waitwaitwait!” Jar smiled and held up his glass, “First, a toast…” his eyes turned thoughtful and distant “Here’s to paradise. A week with no papers, no deadlines, and no drama… just sunshine and sand, drinks in our hands, smiles on our faces, and bikini-clad women as far as the eye can see!” He laughed and they followed the toast with a quick ‘cheers’ as they all downed the second shot. The boys spent some time together, chatting about their drive to the port and what they planned to do that week. Standing out on the balcony, they got to watch as the coast of Texas shrunk into the distant horizon. Before long, there was ocean as far as the eye could see in every direction. “Holy shit…” Jar mused and started nodding his head, slowly at first, and then faster as a fierce smile spread across his cheeks. “WOO! We're on a fucking BOAT!” he let out a party call loud enough for anyone in the nearest mile to hear and threw his fists in the air. The guys chuckled and pondered what to do first. Jar’s stomach was rumbling. “How ‘bout some chow? I remembering readin’ about all the great restaurants here…” Jar swung into the back into the suite through the open glass door, feeling a little bit of a pleasant buzz. “Ah, here it is!” Jareth held up a little pamphlet towards the guys and then flipped it open to scan the contents. “The Jade Restaurant, it’s an Asian fusion type place. They got stuff from Japan, China, India… they boast some good Thai options, man I love Thai food! What do ya think?” Hunter and Fenris agreed that they were both pretty hungry and eager to explore, so together they headed out. Jar made sure to lock the suite door behind them and keep the key card safe in his wallet, which was chained to his jeans. It’d be a real shame if they got too crazy and accidentally locked themselves out of their suite or something. “Everyone got your keys? Phones?” he asked, and upon confirmation they made their way through the sea of people who also seemed to have the same idea as them; Explore.
