Jane's Reckoning|Final Part
We Are-Hollywood Undead Jane panted, on her hands and knees after that last blow, a Titan magic boosted fist having impacted her gut and slammed her into the wall of the damaged church, her hilt having skittered off to the right somewhere, laying glinting in a puddle as the rain fell. The man responsible, Zentir, approached her with a sadistic grin on his face as he grabbed a piece of destroyed pew and made sure it was sharp enough to do the job he intended to. "Your parents were hard to track down, always being on the run. But we did, and they stood a greater chance than you, pip squeak, if I hadn't just snapped their backs. Any last words?" Jane didn't speak at first, too busy trying to gulp air into her lungs as another peal of thunder echoed. "Typical Addeson. Just like your father." As the wooden spear drove towards her heart, a single silver energy blade shot up and split the wood as lightening flashed, making the Titan magic user stumble back in surprise. Slowly, Jane regained her feet, first with one foot coming up, then the other. Finally, her head came up, as the thunder once more echoed, and her eyes had a fire in them that made the Dark Mage raise his eyes in surprise and step back. "I will not die kneeling..." she muttered, raising her fists up in front of her. "But more importantly, I won't die with my parent's names uncleared. I WILL make you pay!" Two blades flared to life from her wrists, one on each wrist, and she crossed them in front of her before charging forward. Zentir laughed and used his magic to throw an enhanced fist at her, but she dodged to the right, the attack missing completely as she proceeds to leap onto the arm and plunge a blade into it. Zentir roared in pain and quickly returned the arm to normal size, forcing the Energy Blade user to leap off as his arther magic user fired a flurry of arrows at her. Left, right, forward with a roll, to the right again, she dodged them as she closed with the archer, leaping and flipping mid air as she reached him and landing behind him, spinning and delivering a round house to the turning mage's face and then ramming her blades into his gut and throwing him against the wall. He wouldn't die, but he was out of the fight as Zentir came at her. Focusing her magic energy, the wrist blades flared before she rushed forward to meet him. As he punched forwards and followed it up with a roundhouse, Jane ducked and backflipped, then closed the distance again, striking with a quick slash from her right arm and a thrust with her left, which Zentir dodged by dancing back out of reach. She followed and he shot his leg out in a front-snap kick, which she spun around to the left and slammed her elbow into the back of his head. Stumbling foward, he lashed out with a Titan magicked backhand that sent Jane flying into the wall again. She stayed there a moment before falling on her face. Still, she stood up and took a ready stance as the Dark Mage turned and let loose another bout of laughter before running at her, his arms growing in size as he used his magic. Damian, who had just arrived on the scene behind James, summoned his Ares Blades and moved to help the girl but James stopped him. "No, this is a matter of honor and duty. We cannot interfer with this fight." Damian looked towards the fight as she danced about with the Dark Mage. God speed, Jane Addeson. God speed. Jane finally found an opening and slammed her fist, having dispersed the blade on her left hand, into Zentir's jaw, stumbling him, then recreating the blade and unleashed a series of slashes and thrusts that left several shallow gashes all over the Titan magic user. "ENOUGH! You will die, little Jane!" Growing angry at the continued resistance of the Energy Blade mage, he unleashes his full Titan form, growing massive and breaking the remains of the church the battle had arrived in beyond repair. "Now to squash you like the insect you are, then on to Phoenix Wing!" He raised a giant foot and brought it down towards Jane, who dodged away, finally spotting the hilt for her holder magic. Snagging it as she avoided another stomp by mere inches, she ignites the silver blade and slides into a ready stance. "Now to end this." Zentir roars in anger and brings his fist down towards her and she dodges it, though she does grab on to use his left arm as a bridge to his body as he lifed the fist. He attempted several times to dislodge the small girl as she ran up his army, eventually storing the hilt and using her wrist blades to scale him. Reaching his shoulder, she sprinted as fast as she could with the Titan magic user trashing around to try and knock her off. Reaching his ear, she used his dreadlocks against him, scaling to the top of his head and bracing herself. Pulling the hilt free, she spins it as the blade hisses to life and plunges it into the top of his head. The man went rigid, then began to shrink back down, Jane leaping off of him and rolling along the ground and back up to her feet. She wasn't sure how much damage her blow had done, since he had been in Titan form. Upon reaching normal size, however, Zentir, leader of the dark guild Promised Butchers, fell to the side and didn't move again. Jane remained tense for several seconds, not willing to believe that the man who had destroyed her life and that of her parents' was finally gone, that she'd managed to defeat him. Then, when it finally became clear he wasn't going to be moving, she collapsed, the combination of pain and grief finally becoming too much and she just cried, even as James came to her and started healing her the best he could while Damian detained the wounded and incapacitated dark wizards who had avoided the rubble when their leader took his Titan form. The storm continued though, lightening and rain and thunder a constant companion as they worked. Damian had taken time to call for help from members of the guild who could be spared and James was now waiting on the arrival of medical wizards, his own magic energy too low to properly heal the three broken ribs in her chest and the fractured arm and broken left leg.
