[@Lugubrious] NOLAN "We're all missing something. Your case is nothing special. Get used to it." Nolan said gruff as ever, completely apathetic to her wrath. As awful as it sounds he really couldn't care less if she was upset with the death of her clone simply because his act of killing was something he couldn't take back and thus accepted it. It's like war; a soldier shouldn't think about those they killed or else they would go mad with guilt, something that Indigo should be very well aware of due to her guild's militaristic nature. Instead, her rage over her clone's death seethed from her and was expressed in the form of creating a beam of heat from the sun to turn up the heat. If he didn't hand the yellow lacrima over to her then she would toast him, but if he did he would still lose. Neither of these options were very appealing to him since he was determined to win this match. Sweat ran down his brow and his tongue was like sandpaper. The women distorted into odd shapes, making them appear less human and the water from the ground was evaporating into a cloud of steam. Nolan began to pant, his body craved water, and begged him to give in, but his will wouldn't let him. His lackluster eyes glared at the woman and through his pants he said, "This...this isn't suffering. The things I've seen...the things I've heard...now that's real suffering." A pulse of magic flowed through him, his pupils turned white and a heavy, suffocating pressure hung in the air. Black ashes begun to slowly seep from his body with soft wisps, forming small clouds around him. "I'll show you true suffering." The ashes around him had begun to move in fast torrents, swirling around him as they kept increasing in numbers. Even the wind him seemed to be picking up with great speed. He clapped his hands together and for a split second there was a deadly silence, like the calm before the storm. Breaking the silence, Nolan chanted, "Ash God's Secret Art-Black Dharma: Purgatory." Ashes erupted from the every portion of his body, causing a powerful gust of wind as the ashes encapsulated everything around it. From a bird's eye view, a person could only see a giant black mass staying in place. The massive cloud of ashes was heavy, unnaturally so. It seemed like that even moving around was hindered. There was no natural light that could pierce this cloud of ashes, only a never ending darkness as it would suffocate all those who were unfortunate to get caught in this attack. It was cold, icy cold without the sun to give its familiar warmth and comfort. It was like the land of the dead, where abyssal darkness ruled supreme. Indigo wouldn't be able to breathe very well and would probably see illusions induced from low oxygen intake. However, this wasn't the true horror of Nolan's secret art. Alone this was a technique of utmost cruelty, but the God Slayer's twist on the art made it into pure, sadistic torture. "Mommy? Where are you?" "Oh god let me go! I want to see my family!" "It hurts...oh god it hurts!" "Where's my baby? Has anyone seen my baby?!" "I feel cold...so cold..." Screaming and sobbing could be heard in the ashes from every direction. The spirits of those that had not passed on to the afterlife or rather could not pass on because of their regrets from their previous lives. This is what made his rendition of his secret art so cruel; it cut off most of the target's senses as it suffocates them all the while the miserable spirits that had either gone mad or gave up hope created a constant noise that never drowned out. It was an attack not meant to due much physical harm, but mental and emotional damage. Could someone as kind and motherly as Indigo ignore the suffering of those around her? [@Caits] FERRIS "That's a good question! I have no idea where she is at this point, but she better hurry up! Time is running out!" Ferris smiled at her and gave her a pat on the head in playful manner. His attention from her was diverted back to Nolan and Indigo's skirmish. "Wow, she's really trying to fry him up! I'm glad I'm not the one under those rays!" As light hearted he was for this round of the games, even he thought this was a bit cruel. Still, it was either lose or win so he couldn't really judge it. He thought it was Nolan's loss until the sudden black cloud of ashes enveloped the area around Nolan and Indigo. "Whoa, that's huge! Just what I'd expect from a God Slayer!"
