-Day 1, August 15th 2090, 9:30 a.m- Erika was about to slam her locker door closed when she saw a picture of her brother on it. She stared at it for a couple seconds pressing her finger on it and sliding her finger down its cold surface. She gave a silent prayer, praying for her brother to protect her. She then closed her locker and saw Miles on the other side. He was out of the classy suit and into his combat gear. Much the same like hers except he had a pink tank top underneath and wore a necklace she gave him just recently. It was that of a silver cross, the sight of it caused her to smile as she touched it. She then gave a rough pat on his chest. "Let's get moving sir,.." She said as she began to leave the armory. He followed close behind. When they reached outside and into the beautiful rainy weather of New York city. She saw her team already ready for action. Three humvees, a armored transport, and one truck. These were assembled to help evacuate civilians who couldn't do so quickly. She walked up and looked at her men, this is what they were trained for. Now they will be able to do the job assigned to them. "You have all been debriefed already, so you likely know what we know. Get into your respected vehicles, we will be going to the closest apartment to the Brooklyn bridge first. I will be taking point in the first vehicle so don't worry about getting lost" She said with a smirk. She then saluted her men and waited for them to return it. They all then piled into their vehicles and waited for her to take lead. She looked to Mile who was beside her. She then raised a hand up for him to clasp into his. "Let's do this." She let go and proceeded to the first vehicle which was the armored transport. She sat towards the exit and waited for Miles to enter it before closing it up. She then hit the wall of the vehicle with the bottom of her fist. "Alright get moving!" She ordered and she felt the engine of the vehicle kick in and the whole frame began to vibrate. With a few loud sounds the vehicle began to move forward. It did not take long before their convoy exited the base and proceeded across the Brooklyn bridge. They were not the only ones either, many more platoons were set out to do the same mission, each one going to a different location. She looked outside a view port and could already see people crossing over it. She sighed as she looked at each one of them. "It's a shame,.... to these people all they know is some deadly virus hit the city. If only they understood the truth of it. Perhaps it's best they don't know. I would likely panic if I found out a infestation of great magnitude was occurring beneath my feet if I were them." She said and turned around seeing Miles looking at her. "What?.." "You and your heart,... your right though, if told the truth a large scale panic would occur. A virus is more or less expected to occur with all the fighting going on across the ocean. A Xenomorph Infestation on the other hand would cause chaos. Let's just get these people out as quick as we can. If this goes perfectly they will never have to face the horror." He said. She nodded and sat back. The cold interior of the vehicle pressing against her back. She blew some of her bangs up away from her face. She was a little nervous ,but who wouldn't be in a time like this? They then cleared the bridge and she looked out the view point once more. She spotted the apartment in question and people were exiting the apartment already ,but there was no telling how many who stayed behind. Their vehicle pulled up into the parking lot taking up a few parking spaces. She pulled a lever and pressed a button and the back door slammed down upon the pavement and she climbed out. The rain once more hitting her. She looked to the people who where just leaving. Two girls inside a Volts wagon. She had no clue those were even still being made. Once all her men where out she gave a quick gesture and they moved to the building. Each one going through a different entrance. She then picked one her self and head towards it.
