I think Nova would have trouble digging too deep into the kolons mind. They did just build what took him 100 years in what is basically three minutes. Then again, it's very possible everyone is just moving at super speed, since upon examination, with everything happening at the same time, either there are tons of awkward pauses, or the time from the battle between Nova and the conquerors and the conquerors subsequent retreat at the chibi apocalypse happened in a span of five minutes.
