[s]At last, Reth rises from the dead[/s] You said Duel Runner and mentioned Turbo Duels, but my question is will Action Dueling (i.e.: ARC-V) be available? And if you're including more Anime-esque environments and storylines, I would stay stick to 4000 LP. Duels go faster that way as well. Personally, I'd love to be the Yugo kind of character, who rides around on a Duel Runner during Action Duels. Quite epic, actually. IDK if I'd be along for the ride, yet, as I need more details (how are our opening Decks decided, how does the randomness of opening a booster pack work, while we're at it, how many cards in a pack, what limitations are placed on players in Dueling [RNG'd Draws or we choose based on storyline purposes], etc) Many questions to be answered. EDIT: If we're allowed to choose our opening Decks, could I build my Yang Zynchron (Yang Zing + Synchron) Deck and upgrade as I go along? Not starting with stuff like T.G. Hyper Librarian, Stardust Warrior, Accel Synchron, and other such Synchros, but perhaps upgrading to include such? Also would Stardust Dragon be available despite being a unique card in the anime? Just wanting to know how all this will work. Ideal Yang Zynchron Build (works, at least for me, even competitively)
Action duels will be available, yes. I've included all three main ways of dueling into the academy, so you don't have to worry about it. I'm also REALLY on the fence about riding a Duel Runner during an action duel, as combining those two just doesn't make any sense to me. Part of the reason why I like both is because one removes an entire type of card and adds it's own instead, while the other opens up more flexibility in how you play. You claim a structure deck, and nobody else can claim that structure deck. They can be custom built, but have to adhere by the rules I posted here. I open booster packs for the players when they buy them to prevent cheating, and the way duels work I've explained here. Hoo boy... Alright, let's start with the major one first. No plot cards ever, for anyone. This is set in a universe where all the story lines have happened, and PC's shouldn't have access to those cards because of it. So also no sidegrades like Stardust Warrior. Also that deck... It exceeds a lot of limitations on what I'd allow in power. Keep in mind we're playing with STRUCTURE decks at the start, who stand no chance against actual competetive decks. If you want to make your character's deck look like that by the end of it that is fine by me; granted you can justify someone knowing to look for those exact cards. You'd need to start with a more thinned version of that I'm afraid, while Structure Decks allow multiple copies of a certain card they also usually have more than 19 unique cards in there. EDIT: And thanks for the note on LP! I'll chalk that one up as the only vote right now. If nobody else objects it'll be 4000 then (though I personally think it's a little too fast.) EDIT2: Alright, after mulling it over a bit I've decided I'm going to add an Action Turbo Duel arena, but the lessons there fall under Turbo Duel course standards because of the dangerous tricks you have to do to get the harder to access Action cards.
