And that stopped the mercs from killing one another and focused at the army ahead of them. But the mad reaction didn't come from the bandits, it came from two of the beings there. The manticore, who almost instantly jumped on the head Paladin and the Jester, who with only a snap of his fingers made the hearts of the wyverns present there explode, killing them instantly.

The army, now with no morale, was less than eager to attack, especially since Iosef had Earthrent.

"Should I still make the portal?" she asks. "These guys are almost about to run."

Anna was lucky that Gabriel had sat in front of her, or she would've been blown away instantly by the massive release of energy. Even Gabriel winced in pain as the massive wave of energy hit him.

"Very well then... if you wish to get Anna, then you'll have to claw your way out of Purgatory first!" Gabriel shouted and sent a massive wave of holy energy towards the group. "And you had the potential of being this world's champions..."
