   While he was waiting for Mithera's transformation to finish, Valak sat in a chair, drew his sword and started running a whetstone down the edge, producing a steady rasp. Layle, for his part started pacing back and forth. After awhile, Layled looked at Valak. [color=6ecff6]"Would a magic sword really need sharpening?"[/color] He asked, irritated by the noise. [color=9966cc]"Weren't you leaving?"[/color] Valak countered. Layle shrugged. [color=6ecff6]"Touché, but no, I would like to find out whats going on here, and besides, I've got nothing better to do.[/color] Valak grunted and kept sharping his sword.

    Awhile later Mithera finaly came out. At her question, Valak looked up and regarded her with his dispassionate gaze. [color=9966cc]"Human."[/color] He said, dryly. Layle rushed to help her walk. [color=6ecff6]"You look as beautiful as a winter day."[/color] Layle said, holding out a hand so she could steady herself. Valak got up and sheathed his sword. [color=9966cc]"What now?"[/color] He asked the former dragon.
