Skills: Harley Quinn is most noticed for her high intelligence and exceptional agility and strength. She is a highly skilled gymnast and psychologist and possesses high immunity to various toxins, even to the extent of Poison Ivy's touch having no effect on her. Harley is very skilled in using various weapons, particularly firearms. Her main weapons are a oversized wooden mallet and a boxing glove gun. She is also known to have pet hyena's. Harley could also act sane long enough to appear in disguise as a "normal" person. (She even got paroled from Arkham Asylum once.) Harley's impersonations included a security guard[6] and a lawyer.[10] A different security guard disguise was actually enough to get approval to guard the Joker alone during a police transport.[11]. Due to Harley's charisma and psychiatric training, she is also adept at psychologically manipulating others.

Equipment: Harley also carried an assortment of clown-themed tools, although they rarely proved effective. One of her signature weapons is an oversized wooden mallet which she swings around with surprising skill despite its unwieldy appearance. Another weapon in her arsenal is an oversized revolver with a cork in the barrel. The cork usually contains ropes to tie people up or knockout gas. A variety of gag weapons, including a pogo-stick, a pop-gun, a glove-gun, and a rubber chicken.

Biography: Harley Quinn, a.k.a. Dr. Harleen Quinzel is an enemy of Batman, and partner-in-crime to the Joker and Poison Ivy.

She becomes fascinated with the Joker while interning at Arkham Asylum, and volunteers to analyze him. She immediately falls in love with the Joker during their sessions. After helping him escape from the asylum more than once, she is caught by her superiors, who revoke her license and put her in a cell of her own. During an earthquake in Gotham City, she flees and becomes Harley Quinn, the Joker's partner-in-crime.

She is stuck in a highly abusive relationship. No matter how bad Joker is to her, she always comes back to him. On several occasions she has tried to cut ties with him but has failed to do so. Harley Quinn (Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel) was first introduced as a villain on September 11, 1992, in the animated series Batman: The Animated Series, later adapted into DC Comics' Batman comic books. As suggested by her name (a play on the word "harlequin"), she is clad in the manner of a traditional harlequin jester. The character is a frequent accomplice and the girlfriend of Batman's nemesis the Joker, and is also close to Poison Ivy, from whom she gained her immunity to poisons and toxins.
