Erika and Miles slowly made their way out of the store. Erika turned to the humvee and saw the dead Xeno close by to the body of the marine. Both had their holes. She grimaced and clenched her fist around the stock of her assault rifle. Damn it,... She walked up to the marine and bent down grabbing his dog tags and yanking them off. She then placed them in a pouch at her side. She then noticed one of the sisters were armed but the other wasn't. She quickly removed her .45 auto pistol and reached in through the window. "Take this,... trust me you will need it." She said and leaned back out and then proceeded to enter the humvee. Her men following in behind. Those that were still alive anyways. When Miles entered the car beside her ,she turned and looked to him. She sighed and then looked forward. The anger building back up again. "How do they expect us to save everyone in this damned city.... those things are going to be everywhere. A tactical strike won't be enough. They will have to nuke this entire damn city at this rate." She said. She then moved the stick into reverse and backed up and then moved the stick forward once more. She then pulled forward and they zoomed off. She lost a marine today... because two girls wanted to go to work still. He was just one marine though, and they were two. Was this fight going to always be like this. Save a few and then lose some as well. Miles turned around in his seat looking to the two girls. He then sighed and looked to Erika and then back at them. He then relaxed and looked up at the ceiling of the vehicle. "All the training I had to fight those things.... I sure the hell did not expect that. Those things are even more uglier in person and more hella' bat shit insane." He said. "Totally boycotting Wayland Yutani products from now on...." He added. For awhile there was silence until the radio broke up with military chatter. "...evacuation impossible.... Xenos everywhere.... abandon the island..... strike inbound." Was heard and Erika looked to it and then back forward and swore once more under her breathe. "I hope its enough to kill every one last of them." She then grabbed the comlink on her shoulder and clicked on. "Alright, abandon your mission and evacuate now... a missile strike is inbound." She said. There was no response though. This brought a very bad feeling in her gut. As they drove down the road nearing the brooklyn bridge. She wanted to look to the apartment but she knew she would not like it. She could already hear the gun fire and as they closer she could hear the screams on the radio. They made it onto the bridge and she floored it even more. She did not know the blast radius but she wanted to be far enough from it that they didn't get hit by it.
