She can be described as little else but beautiful, inside and out. She is graceful, soft-spoken and always smiling, and her romantic nature at heart is what pushed her to pursue hee acting career in romance films.

She grew up as the fifth child of seven sisters and two very traditional parents, teaching all the girls dance as they grew up. Though they've all moved to different parts of the country now, the sisterly bond is strong as ever and her parents are now old, and well cared for. The sisters all seem well off, but Aoi is the second most settled out of them all, the first being her eldest sister who is married, and besides her own endeavour in the shoe design department, her husband heads a prestigious law firm.
