Why was Viral so insistent on fighting wildly? If he was careful with his strikes not only would he hit more but they would be more effective and direct. Instead of pacing himself however he saw fit to throw as many strikes as he could muster, getting one or two at most to land out of a dozen. Flipping him over to try and make a point he sighed when the Beastman only continued on his fury streak, weaving again to avoid being hit in the head. "Viral, you're not listening to me. If you can't bring yourself down and relax then I won't bother training you." Aito threatened, albeit halfheartedly. He knew how important this matter was and it shouldn't be dismissed, yet if he continued going like this he'd end up the equivalent of a berserker, nothing more. However, wanting Viral to not end up utterly disheartened he stopped moving thereafter, taking a solid strike to the mouth and being knocked on his rear, groaning as his lip was split and blood trickled out of his mouth. "You hit hard, we've already established that..." Aito continued as he looked up at Viral, smiling slightly before turning his head to spit, "But were this a real battle you'd be at a disadvantage. Take a moment and collect your thoughts, then we'll continue." "You could get presents for your birthday, for starters, and we'd owe you a lot of them at this point," Yumi explained, munching on the last of her fruit, "Mmm... Or for a lot of holidays on Earth people give presents too. But we'd probably just give you birthday presents, I don't know what holidays people celebrate." Giving gifts just for the sake of giving gifts was fine too, nothing wrong in a little generosity now and again. Really she'd buy Shu something any time if he wanted it, especially if it made him happy. Seeing the young boy smiling, Yumi got back to her feet and threw the core of the fruit off into the trees, licking her fingers to clean them before clasping her hands together. "There, now we can practice swinging in the trees, right? And you'll teach us how?" she asked, hoping Shu would perk up some more at getting to do something he liked, "You're going to need to be patient, I've never done this before, might take a while to get it." Glancing up at the trees she tried to figure out exactly how it would even work, never having attempted as much before. Did they just swing like monkey bars from branch to branch? Takeshi would be happy to see his gift for Shu finally being used, even if he himself had forgotten about it. Considering how much fighting with those creatures was coming up it was all the more reason to learn too; having the staff would keep Shu from having to get too close, maybe he'd be more comfortable with the extra reach. This was too all dependent on whether the little guy could learn to use it or not, and with Yumi offering to help he was hopeful his brother would. Just learning to use a staff however wasn't Shu's only concern, there were other things his sibling needed as well, more book-oriented things. "Huh... I guess that's a good way to do it, Vegeta's a smart guy..." Takeshi said thoughtfully with a nod, "How're you liking that stuff by the way? I mean is it hard? You like learning it? I never really did a whole lot you know, just enough to know what stuff is. Heh... You'll probably know more than I do before long."
