Yes.

Though it's more along the lines of "Smashed the things holding the chains onto the platform, giving them enough maneuverability to walk". They may still have chains around their ankles and such, it's just now they can at least run away. 

Don't worry too much about it, you have a big demonic knight trying to stab you in the face right now.
