Kaathe didn't quite remember how he had come to be in this position. All he remembered was seeing one of the hybrids knock Cythlla down, and then, next thing he knew, he was standing over what could only be the frozen and shattered remains of the abomination. If the dark elf had remembered, he would have remembered how he dashed to the creature and used his dagger to hook it from the neck, then pulled the thing away from Cythlla. he would have remembered how it charged at him, and how he stabbed it with his dagger again, this time with a hastened freezing enchantment on it. He would have remembered watching it freeze in place as its flesh and chitin froze in place, before shattering its body to pieces with the flat of the greatsword he meant to only hold onto and deliver. In any case, Kaathe could only feel his arm aching. This mission was taking a lot out of him, and his body needed to rest. Still, resting inside a Kest hive was a bad idea on several levels. The dark elf turned to Cythlla see if she was okay. At first glance, he couldn't see any injuries that would prove to become a problem in the future. The creature that attacked, however, was a hybrid of sorts, and brought about an unknown factor. With that in mind, he went up to the girl and knelt down. At first, it was only meant to check to see if anything was out of the ordinary, but then it became strange. He held out his hand to help her up.
