Wes Gusto
Location: Crocus Street Wes noticed something seemed to be troubling Mayt. Was it because he was too assertive or did Mayt feel bad that couldn't help. "Meet me at the northern outskirts of Crocus. If you can't find me there, don't worry, I'll find you. Tanks for the help." Before Mayt could leave, Wes grabbed his shoulder. He pulled him back, wanting to make sure everything was okay. "Sorry if I'm asked too much. I knew how it felt having amnesia. Only being told what you did and not actually remembering it can be stressful. But I suppose I was different. No one in Edolas knew who I was, no one that tell me past. Eventually I stopped worrying about what I did before and started to focus on what I was going to do now. Whatever happened to you in Edolas is in the past. It's just one part of your life. You still have today and the future to focus on what you want to do. You still have time to do what you think is right." [@Burthstone]
Grane Falo
Location: Domus Flau, Crocus "As for why I was gone for so long, it was due to close family. My cousin who lives in Minstrel, happened to be very sick at the time, so I was forced to come and visit her. Very nice person, and very much in common with one another. And in a way, it was a blessing for me, for I unintentionally avoided taking part of the whole... collapse of the Council. Though I must ask... even though I heard some things that lead to its collapse in the papers, I heard very little of what went down. Mind if you kindly jog my memory again Grane-dear?" "Yes, that day." Grane rose a hand to cover his frustrated grunt as he tried remembering the details. "I'm sure you might of heard of a guild called Phoenix Wing. That guild's popularity grew quite fast this year and that somewhat troubles me. On that day Phoenix Wing was there to and faced the Council. They demanded the Council to stop their corrupted ways or else. The latter being the choice, Phoenix Wing fought the Council members and made quite a mess of the headquarters. Because I was out on a mission, I arrived late into battle. But as I fought the guild members, I could feel something. The feeling that I carry when protecting the Council and upholding it's spirit of justice, I could sense those same feelings inside those guild members. What they were fighting for was right. But I couldn't simply surrender to group of rebellious wizards. So I continued our fight to see if I could still sense that spirit within them until one of us decided to stop. After watching them fight long enough, I decided to stop and give them win." He paused, a slight amount of anger could be seen in eyes for about less than a second before continued story. "But as they received their victory, I could sense something dark was released from below. You see, we kept a particular prisoner below headquarters. He goes by the name of Shutler Wake. His power behaved differently than the usual magic. It took most of the old council to subdue him and seal him away, but you could say we were lucky enough to find a weakness in time before things could get worse. But now he broke free and most of the people inside the headquarters were exhausted from the battle. We were able to activate an emergency plan and that sent him to Edolas, but he decided to forcibly bring some of the guild members with him as he was pushed into Edolas. A few days passed and those guild members returned, but we also detected that Shutler must of snicked his way out with them somehow. Now he's back and roaming somewhere on Earthland." Grane let out a heavy grunt as he paused as the story was pretty much wrapped up. But he had to say a few more things that still troubled him. "Although Phoenix Wing had good intentions, it still frustrates me that they had to take things too far. Not only did they made the old Magic Council collapse, but they also unintentionally caused a few problems because of it. With the Council being in a weak state and rebuilt, this allowed dark guilds to grow and expand without the concern of interference from the Council. There also the possibility that it can make any wizards think they're above the Magic Council's authority and do what they think that the Council cannot. But when does their actions go too far. What will they consider to be the good choice and the effective action. What will they believe to be the greater good. I'm aware the new Council is here, but with the reputation of the old council, it may take awhile for things to change." [@Lmpkio]
