"I'm sure you might of heard of a guild called Phoenix Wing." "As being the most famous guild in Fiore currently, of course I have." Sayatachi answers quickly in response. "That guild's popularity grew quite fast this year and that somewhat troubles me. On that day Phoenix Wing was there to and faced the Council. They demanded the Council to stop their corrupted ways or else. The latter being the choice, Phoenix Wing fought the Council members and made quite a mess of the headquarters. Because I was out on a mission, I arrived late into battle. But as I fought the guild members, I could feel something. The feeling that I carry when protecting the Council and upholding it's spirit of justice, I could sense those same feelings inside those guild members. What they were fighting for was right. But I couldn't simply surrender to group of rebellious wizards. So I continued our fight to see if I could still sense that spirit within them until one of us decided to stop. After watching them fight long enough, I decided to stop and give them win." He paused, a slight amount of anger could be seen in eyes for about less than a second before continued story. "But as they received their victory, I could sense something dark was released from below. You see, we kept a particular prisoner below headquarters. He goes by the name of Shutler Wake. His power behaved differently than the usual magic. It took most of the old council to subdue him and seal him away, but you could say we were lucky enough to find a weakness in time before things could get worse. But now he broke free and most of the people inside the headquarters were exhausted from the battle. We were able to activate an emergency plan and that sent him to Edolas, but he decided to forcibly bring some of the guild members with him as he was pushed into Edolas. A few days passed and those guild members returned, but we also detected that Shutler must of sneeked his way out with them somehow. Now he's back and roaming somewhere on Earthland." Grane let out a heavy grunt as he paused as the story was pretty much wrapped up. But he had to say a few more things that still troubled him. "Although Phoenix Wing had good intentions, it still frustrates me that they had to take things too far. Not only did they made the old Magic Council collapse, but they also unintentionally caused a few problems because of it. With the Council being in a weak state and rebuilt, this allowed dark guilds to grow and expand without the concern of interference from the Council. There also the possibility that it can make any wizards think they're above the Magic Council's authority and do what they think that the Council cannot. But when does their actions go too far. What will they consider to be the good choice and the effective action. What will they believe to be the greater good. I'm aware the new Council is here, but with the reputation of the old council, it may take awhile for things to change." Rainbow Majesty takes a sip of her wine before making her quick remarks. "But you must remember..." she begins, "That guild wasn't the only one in Fiore's history that was on bordering lines with the Council. Look at Fairy Tail. For years have they taken things to the extreme, the same way as Phoenix Wing does. Yet their intentions were true and quite admirable. I felt the Council needed a reformation as well. Perhaps not violently like they did, but a democratic and peaceful one. Especially when criticism ripples through it. Even if it so happens that dark guilds begin to be on the rise, once at full power, we will be able to erase them from the face of Fiore. And for the next generation of wizards, we must make an example for them. On how to behave and respect the council, strong enough to keep them in line, but not completely to avoid corruption, and to allow them to choose what is right and wrong." After she finished, the battle between Nolan and Indigo had finally ended. Sayatachi does a small chuckle as she sips the last of her wine. "Looks like the battle has ended," she comments, "with Nolan being the victor. He better keep his boxers on, for he's going to be covered with women wanting to go out with him. Hell, I wouldn't mind dating him even at this age if given the chance. *Sigh* Too bad he's too cowardly to face the opposite sex..."
[@hatakekuro]
Samir Saron and Marlene Evangeline
"So are you both going to go hit on him or what? There are others that are after the same prize now." It was here when Marlene began to blush bright red with embarrassing thoughts... but also some anger. If only Enma knew what she went though yesterday. All because that one mage, artificially forcing Nolan to go in for a kiss. And it was there where she went berserk... right in front of all the other guild mates, and perhaps changing her personality as well. At first, she was known as a big tease, liking to flirt with other guys for kicks n' tricks, while also liking to have nice conversations with roaring laughter and life. Now... after going berserk, Marlene went into a rapid recoil back onto herself. How stupid of her to go rage in front of the guild just days after you were accepted! If it wasn't for Samir stepping in to knock her out, she would've severely injured or even killed her. However, what has happened happened, and this down-feeling will probably be only temporary for her, but she wasn't so sure. Now she wants to apologize to him, and might as well make it up to him, but she was also afraid how Nolan will react to her even by just approaching him. Life just wasn't fair! And the anger began to slowly rise up form the internal pressure she began to contain. However, the smooth hand of the Archer softly puts her hand on Marlene's back, immediately releasing all the stresses and doubts from her body. A deep exhale of a sigh escapes the lips of the Crystal Maiden as she slowly goes back into her regular state of mind. "Not now." Samir says quietly, "You can apologize to him once the next battle begins, or tonight in his room. Everything is going to be alright." "Okkkkkkk..." Marlene responds as she takes a few deep breathes. Crisis adverted...
