[@Dedonus] Hey Ded I was wondering something, in The Twelve Labors of Hercules, Queen Hippolyta supposedly grants him her girdle granting authority/dominion? over the Amazons. So what became of them afterwards in your mythos? I personally like the idea of Hercules banging them out of existence. The guy went through twelve labors, If I were him with my new found authority over a race of hot Amazons I'd be all for an Orgy. No doubt his children would out number the Amazons and be something of a semi god? Is that a thing? So is Hercules still around? Or has one of his many children taken up his or her place as a Demi God?
The girdle was actually given to Admete, the daughter of Euryshtheus, who sent Herakles on these labors in the first place. In fact, Hippolyte was going to give the girdle to Herakles until Hera came down, disguised as an Amazon and incited the Amazons against Herakles and the Greeks. While the Greek heroes who went with Herakles on this labor did kidnap some Amazons (most famously Theseus and either Hippolyte or Antiope), most of the Amazons were able to murder their captors. Furthermore, the Amazons still survived as a group (or "race") after this labor, as seen in Penthesilea's involvement in the Trojan War. Herakles is both in Olympus and in the underworld. His mortal half died and dwells in the underworld, while his divine portion lives on Olympus with his divine wife, Hebe. While it is true that he had many children, none of them really were at his level, so he doesn't have any demi-god sons running around. The closest thing we have is Odysseus (who is not the actual King of Ithaka).
