Smiling at that moment, from the damage he did to Xao's forearm, Dante watched on and was ready for the attacks that were to come as one of the henchmen gave Dante a sound kick to the right knee which, even with him bracing himself, it still stung. Dante couldn't counter since the fact Mr. Fucked up forearm swiftly assisted with a palm attack to the chest being knocked back.

Dante noticed the two that just attacked him but like back when he fought in unfair fights times before, he knew that he'd get jumped from all sides when he didn't see the other two in sight. Dante not taking the time to think about it, instinctively got into a peek-a-boo guard, crouched and dashed forward to try and get out of range of the two who was more than likely trying to hit him from behind. Since Xao was already hurt, he dashed straight for the one that kicked him as he opened his hands slightly in his peek-a-boo guard just in case he needed to deflect or grab any next on coming attacks from Xao if he tried. 

Watching the two closely, he went to step on the foot of the one that attacked his knee so to go for an attempt to elbow strike the left side of his head and spin so to use the guy as a shield if anyone was to try and attack Dante from behind. Dante heard someone calling out but didn't bother to look at who it was since his focus was on the fight at the moment. Was it help for the Water Dragons or was it the cavalry who Stone recruited? He was going to find out.
