This looks pretty cool, but how strict are you about providing portraits for our characters? I'm not much of an artist, and I don't know about pulling up a stock photo to represent someone I'm trying to create from scratch.

Also, are people forced to associate with X group? For example, would I be able to play a Norwegian vessel, that wanted nothing to do with Europe, for whatever reason?
