Not too bad, I like the sound of Pete :) I was thinking maybe Mari and her plus 1 could be long-term partners...or about to get engaged sort of scenario...maybe he doesn't particularly like her parents, as he knows what crap they put everyone through...but goes as he wants to be supportive.
