I also watched every episode but tried to give the movie a chance. 

After all, I knew there was no way one movie could fit a entire 'book' / season and be good. Because what made the show wonderful was all those little episodes and moments with the characters and the little stories along their journey.

But what irritated me the most was the movie's version of 'bending'. it could have been cool to see.... But 5 earth benders.... To move a rock so slowly and small a five year old could side step it.

That and the character portrayals. It irked me a little that unlike the original, the characters looks didn't go with their nation. But I let it slide.

But then there was the acting... And the change in personalities... It just hurt >~<
