Hello, hello! I'm new here, but not to role playing. I'm looking for a female partner (18 and up only) please. I'm a busy fellow, so I don't think I'll need more than one replay a day unless I get some free time, then I'll go as bonkers as time allows! I'm not a stickler for perfect grammar. I just like my partners to be basically literate and have some skill as a writer. I don't expect a novel for a reply, but I would say I have a two paragraph minimum. I'm really craving something that falls between a classic and modern sci-fi tale. You know, something that has the sensibilities of vintage science fiction but with a modern feel. I love the works of Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, Jack Vance and so on. I want to explore mature themes and am willing discuss what that means via PM. What I really want though, is a collaborator. I can give as good as I get when it comes to writing so I'm really hoping to find someone who can share the load. RPs don't need to have mature themes or romance, but I would say if it seems like a good idea once we get into it, then lets go for it! Here is a brief list of what I'm wanting at the moment: [b]Original Ideas[/b] Robots - I love Asimov's robot stories and would be interested in developing a world and plot that explores these ideas with someone. I'm willing to play two different OC's - a scientist (maybe) and a robot. I have a vague plot idea rolling around in the back of my mind but it's kind of foggy still. I really want to explore the idea of human/robot relations and how they could evolve. Mechs - I don't have anything specific in mind, but I touch on this in a fandom section below. All I know is I would love to do something involving giant robots! Aliens - Alien abduction maybe? Or a first contact story? Oh!!!! What about a scout for an alien government sent to spy on and observe humans? Perhaps he his hurt and ends up being hunted by the American government. Ends up being aided by a friendly and open minded human? I'm willing to discuss this. [b]Fandoms[/b] I'm up for a number of pairings (Canon or OC) for the following: Star Trek (Prime Universe, reboot or both, [b]I have a plot for this![/b] ) Star Wars (Post Episode VI but pre Episode VII maybe?) Marvel Universe (The MCU is preferred - including TV shows - but I'm up for adding comic characters.) DC Universe (Dark Knight universe but expanded after the third film - [b]I have a plot for this![/b] This would involve integrating some comic characters.) Pacific Rim (After the events of the film - I'd prefer a mix of canon and OCs? [b]I have a plot for this![/b]) Interstellar (Before or after the movie, or even after man leaves the Earth but before they find Cooper) Stargate (TV Universe) Quantum Leap (Picking up after the show ended, perhaps with Sam Beckett's daughter) Dr. Who (OCs and Canons okay... depending on the OCs) Dark Matter Other than for a few exceptions, I don't have any specific pairings in mind and I'm okay with doubling up. On a (sorta) side note, I understand that we're all different and looking for different things. As such, if we start talking about plot and stuff and you begin to feel like we're not really meshing all too well, then it's totally fine to say so. I promise my feelings won't be hurt.
